Sustainable and recyclable

Sustainable packaging is an everyday topic. Did you know that we were the first to create full-plastic coffee bags without metallization, while maintaining a high oxygen barrier to keep coffee as fresh as possible? What was an innovation about 8 years ago is nowadays a market standard in specialty coffee. And we kept on innovating. Since 2020 we compensate the CO2 generated in the production of our coffee bags, and we do this without any extra charges. Over the last years we’ve been working on high barrier mono-material pouches, fully made from PE. In 2021 we introduced our first mono-material bag line successfully, and we are pretty sure this will become the new market standard in just a few years’ time.
