This way we maximize sustainable development and improve health standards of even the poorest.
Sustainable packaging is an everyday topic. Did you know that we were the first to create 100% plastic coffee bags without any metallization, while maintaining an high oxygen barrier to keep coffee as possible? What was an innovation about 8 years ago is nowadays a market standard in specialty coffee. But we kept on innovating. Since 2020 all our coffee bags are standard CO2 compensated without any extra charges. Over the last years we’ve been working on high barrier mono-material pouches, fully made from PE. In 2021 we’ve introduced our first mono-material bag line successfully, and we are pretty sure this will become the new market standard in just a few years’ time.
The easiest way for us to make an impact was by starting to reduce our own ecological footprint.
